Memory works by reading window titles that are active. Let's say you have Google Chrome active on a website, it will send the current window title together with a timestamp with some detail about your activity, such as the website or file name.ย

Here is an example of a row of data collected by Memory -

It will show up on your Memory Inbox like this -

List View:ย

Timeline View:ย

Please note that Memory does not track websites when viewed in Google Chrome's private/incognito mode.

โ€‹Also note that:

  • Memory does not track websites when viewed in Google Chrome's private/incognito mode.

  • You can turn off tracking at any time by clicking the Memory icon and toggling the button:

You can access the Memory in Windows right from your system tray. Click the pink brain icon ๐Ÿง  and toggle between OFF and ON.

To make sure you never miss a billable minute, make sure Memory is set to automatically launch on start up. It just makes life a little easier. ๐Ÿ˜Žย
