In today’s day and age, keeping up with all the passwords we’ve created for all our work tools becomes a chore in itself. To access your Timely account quickly and securely, you can choose to sign in via Google or Apple! Instead of wracking your brain until the password falls out or having to reset, in just a few clicks you’ll be up and running!

Note: If you’ve already created a Timely account and you want to sign in using Google or Apple, you’ll need to go to your profile and select which SSO option you want to use going forward:

When you head to app.timelyapp.com/login, you’ll find the options to sign in with either Google or Apple just below the fields where you would enter your username and password:

Sign in with Google

Select “Sign in with Google” and you’ll then be asked to select the Google account that’s connected to your Timely email address (if you’re not already signed into Google, you’ll be asked to enter your Google password):

Sign in with Apple

When you click on the option to Sign in with Apple, you’ll be taken to an external site hosted by Apple to sign in using your Apple ID email address and password:

Once you’ve signed in, you’ll need to select the email address you want to use with your Timely account. You can choose to share the email address associated with your Apple ID or hide that email address, meaning a dummy email address is set up in its place:

FAQs

What if I want to log in with my email address and password again?

If you’ve already signed in with Google or Apple previously, typing in your email address while trying to log in will route you back to the single sign-on option you selected previously. If you want to go back to using your Timely email address and password instead of Google or Apple, select the “Use email address and password” option from your profile. You’ll then be asked to enter and confirm your password before disabling the single sign-on option.

I've turned on the option to sign in with Apple but I can't login. What do I do?

Try removing Timely as an authorized app then turning on the Apple authorization option again from within your profile. Here's how you can remove Timely as an app via your Apple ID: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210426

What if I don’t want to share my Apple ID email with Timely?

If you’d prefer to keep your Apple ID email address private, you can click the option to hide your email, thereby creating a randomized email address that will allow you to continue the registration process. Any messages you need to receive from Timely are sent to that randomized email address which is linked and forwarded to the email address associated with your Apple ID.
